Victorian Recorder Guild

The Victorian Recorder Guild (VRG) is a network of recorder enthusiasts - players, performers and teachers - that encourages the playing and performance of recorders.

Vale Colin Smith

With great sadness we advise members, recorder community
colleagues  and all our supporters that our president, Colin Smith, died suddenly but peacefully at his home last Wednesday night or Thursday morning. His contribution to the Guild,  the Cranbourne recorder groups that he taught and led,  the Melbourne Recorder Orchestra, the wider recorder community and many other organisations (especially welfare organisations and his church) was enormous. He will be sorely missed.
Tributes to Colin are  on another  page on this link.
